Niu Huang (Calculus Bovis, Cattle Gallstone, Bezoar) - 30g.
-clearing heat from heart and liver, relieves toxicity, dislodges phlegm
Xi Jiao (Comu Rhinoceri, Rhinoceros Horn) - 30g.
-clearing fire from heart, liver and stomach, calms spirit
She Xiang (Secretio Moschus, Naval Secretions of Musk Deer, Musk) - 7.5g.
-opens up orifices, revives spirit
Huang Lian (Rhizoma, Coptidis, Coptis Rhizome) - 30g.

Cooking Preparation of An Gong Niu Huang Wan
grind all natural ingredients into powder and form into pills using honey. Pills should be 3 grams each and were traditionally coated with gold leaf (not practiced today). Each 3gram pill is taken 2 -3 times per day with warm water, children should take half this dosage.
