Thrush

Thrush is also known as cadidiasis.  It is any overgrowth of the fungus candida and occurs in the oral, vaginal cavities or more systemic serious diseases.   Thrush is also called yeast infections as it is an overgrowth of yeast. 

Most conditions of thrush only have mild non-life threatening symptoms of redness, itching and possible burning on the effected area.

Excess Heat in the Heart and Spleen

Thrush that has a mild burning "hot" sensation with white or yellow coating or discharge.  There will be a bad smell from the effected area.  The patient will feel heavy, have mild bloating, possible poor sleep and irritability.  The urine will also be concentrated yellow with possible strong smell and a red face with mild constant fever.

Deficient Heat in Heart and Spleen

Thrush with hot type symptoms similar to the above pattern.  There will red cheek, fever in the evenings, sweating easily with small amount of yellow urine.
