A Cure for Hiccups

 

How To Diagnose Hiccups:

Hiccups are named after the sound which the make "hic-up".  They are very common effecting most everyone atleast a few times during their lifetime.  They are even common while in utero having many expecting mothers feeling their babies jump with each hiccup.  Although they are very common there is no western medicine explanation as to having any health benefit from them.  

Hiccups have been known to last from a minute or two or days.  The longest recorded case of having the hiccups was 6 years !   They are most common in children and over all will slowly decrease in commonality as we age.  

A hiccup occurs when the diaphragm spasms and can be on either side or both sides.  It most commonly occurs on the left side of the diaphgram.  Hiccups can be caused by many different things like stress or nerve irritation.    Finding a cure for hiccups can be difficult but there are many things you can do to help decrease them.  

 

Stomach Cold

Hiccups which are deep and forceful.  There will also be stomach cramping pain which is alleviated by warmth and aggravated by cold.

Drinking Water to Cure Hiccups !

Poor yourself a large glass of water, take a deep breath and slowly drink the entire glass without stopping to breath.
