- 9g. -tonify blood, invigorates blood
Bai ShaoYao (Radix Paeoniae Lactiflorae, White Peony Root, Peony)
- 9g. -harmonize ying and wei Qi levels, disperses cold
Gui Zhi (Ramulus Cinnamomi Cassiae, Cinnamon, Cassia Twig)
- 9g. -warms channels, harmonize ying and wei Qi levels
Xi Xin (Herba Cum Radice Asari, Chinese Wild Ginger, Asarum)
- 6g. -expels both internal and external cold
Zhi Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis, Licorice Root)
- 6g. -tonify spleen Qi, tonify blood
Da Zao (Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae, Chinese Date, Jujube)

Cooking Preparation of Dang Gui Si Ni Tang
This natural medicine Herbal formula should be taken three times a day. The dosage of Da Zao is usually reduced to only 4 or 5 pieces by today's practitioners because of it's cloying nature.
