Huang Bai (Cortex Phellodendri, Amur Cork -tree Bark, Phellodendron)

- 9 -12g. -drains damp heat in the lower jiao

Cang Zhu (Rhizome Atractyloids, Atractylodes (black) Rhizome)

- 6 -9g. -dries dampness

Cooking Preparation of Er Miao San
This natural medicine formula should be fried before being ground into a powder and taken 2 times per day with ginger juice. The normal dosage today is between 3 and 6 grams.

This Herbal formula is commonly used as the foundation for many other formulas which drain damp heat from the lower burner.
