Wu Yao (Radix Linderae Strychnifoliae, Lindera Root)

- 15g. -promotes liver Qi circulation, expels cold, alleviates pain

Mu Xiang (Radix Aucklandiae Lappae, Costus Root, Saussurea, Aucklandia)

- 15g. -promotes Qi circulation, alleviates pain

Xiao Hui Xiang (Fructus Foeniculi Vulgaris, Fennel Fruit)

- 15g. -warms lower jiao, expels cold

Qing Pi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae Viride)

- 15g. -regulates Qi, promotes liver Qi circulation

Cooking Preparation of Tian Tai Wu Yao San
When preparing this Chinese medicine formula Ba Dou should be dry fried with Jin Ling Zi to eliminate any negative properties of the herb. Discard Ba Dou after and grind remaining ingredients into a fine powder and take 3 gram dosages as a draft followed by a small amount of wine to promote circulation and expel cold. If Tian Tai Wu Yao San is prepared as a decoction Ba Dou should be omitted due to it's toxic effects.
