Main Action of Wu Ji San
This TCM Herbal formulas Main functions are to release the exterior, warm the interior, promote Qi flow, transform phlegm, invigorate the blood and reduce accumulations. This is an externally contracted wind cold pathogen with pre -existing internal injury due to cold (commonly from improper diet).

Herbal Ingredients of Wu Ji San

Ma Huang (Herba Ephedrae, Ephedra Stem, Ma -huang)

- 1.5 -4.5g. -release exterior cold

Bai Zhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae, Angelica Root)

- 1.5 -4.5g. -release exterior cold

Gan Jiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Officinalis, Dried Ginger Rhizome, Ginger)

- 1.5 -4.5g. -warm interior, expel cold

Rou Gui (Cortex Cinnamomi Cassiae, Cinnamon Bark)

- 1.5 -4.5g. -warm interior, expel cold

Cang Zhu (Rhizoma Atractyloids, Atractylodes, Rhizome)

- 3 -9g. -dry dampness, eliminate stagnation

Hou Po (Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis Magnolia Bark)

- 1.5 -4.5g. -dry dampness, eliminate stagnation

Chen Pi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Tangerine Peel, Citrus)

Cooking Preparation of Wu Ji San
When preparing this alternative medicine formula grind all natural Herbal ingredients into a coarse powder setting aside Rou Gui and Zhi Ke. Fry ingredients until powder changes color, allow to cool and then use all powder to prepare a draft. Each draft should be 9grams each and taken with 3 pieces of Sheng Jiang.
