Today we are faced with the decision of choosing from a variety of different types of food. Not only will we make the choice of eating right we have to make the choice of what right actually is.

What Does Organic Mean?
All certified organic products WILL NOT be genetically modified. These products will not have pesticides or herbicides used during their growing process nor will they have preservatives used to prolong shelf life.
Is organic and certified Organic the same?
The first thing to know about Organic food is that Organic and Certified Organic are different. Foods with the label of Certified Organic have to follow rigid rules and pay large licensing fee's to legally put the certified into their product. Organic products need to follow less strict guidelines and pay much less in certification. Many small farms following the certified organic rules will not have the money to get properly titled to be certified yet will grow all their products to the proper standards.
