Gan Cao Also Known As: Chun Pi, Chun Gen Bai Pi,  Chu Bai Pi, Chu Gen Pi, Tree of heaven Ailanthus Bark

Properties:  BITTER, ASTRINGENT  - COLD

Dosage: 3 - 15g

• Clears heat, dries dampness and binds the intestines - chronic diarrhea or dysentry due to damp heat, especially with bloody stools
• Chronic vaginal discharge due to damp-heat
• Kills roundworms or external application of pruritic tinea-like rashes.
