Properties: BITTER - COLD

Dosage: 3 -12g

Meridians/Channels: HEART, LARGE INTESTINE, LIVER, STOMACH

  • Drains heat and purges accumilation for high fever, sweating, thirst, constipation, abdominal distension, delirium and yellow tongue coating
  • Drains damp heat by defication
  • Drains heat from the blood for the treatment of blood in the stools, hemorrhoids, vommiting blood or nosebleeds
  • Invigorates the blood and dispels blood stasis for abdominal masses, amenorrhea and fixed pain due to blood stasis
  • Topically for fire toxicity/ heat for burns and lesions
