Cooking Preparation of Da Jian Zhong Tang
This Herbal formula should be prepared only with Yi Tang (Maltose) and never Cane Sugar as cane sugar has a far colder nature which would further injure the middle jiao. Ren Shen (Ginseng Root) is usually replaced with Dang Shen (Codonopsis Pilosulae) by today's practitioners due to excess cost of Ren Shen.
