Also Used For: Orally, E Zhu (Zedoary) is used for colic, spasms, stimulating appetite, improving digestion, stimulating bile flow, and as an anti-inflammatory. In combination herbal products, zedoary extracts are used for gastrointestinal complaints and stimulating bile flow. Folk medicine, zedoary is used for nervous diseases.
