Jian Qian Cao Also Known As: Lysimachia Plant, Yellow Willowherb. Lysimachia vulgaris.

Properties: SWEET, BLAND - NEUTRAL

Dosage: 15-60g.

Meridians/Channels: BLADDER, GALLBLADDER, KIDNEY, LIVER

  • promote urination, stone lin syndrome
  • clears damp, jaundice (yang or yin)
  • red-swollen eyes

Also Used For: Orally, loosestrife is used for scurvy, diarrhea, dysentery, and as an astringent. It is also used for hemorrhages, including nose bleeds and heavy menstrual flow. Topically, loosestrife is used for wounds.
